The short version. Podium Facts is a free, unofficial app with a Formula 1 fact a day. Enjoy it, be fair, and remember that we're fans, not the sport itself. These terms are the rules for using it.
Who we are
Podium Facts is run by Pixel Viking, a sole proprietorship (obrt) in Croatia ("we"). Contact: privacy@podiumfacts.com. By using the app you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
An unofficial app
Podium Facts is a fan app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Formula 1, the FIA, Formula One Management or any team or driver. "Formula 1", "F1" and related names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe what the facts are about.
The facts
We research every fact and list our sources, but mistakes can happen. The facts are for fun and learning, not for betting, research or other important decisions. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we'll fix it.
Photos and videos
Photos come from Wikimedia Commons and similar sources under free licences, and each one is credited to its author with its licence. Videos are played from YouTube and belong to their owners, for example Formula 1's official channel. The rest of the app (its design, text and code) belongs to us. You may share a fact with friends, but please don't copy the app's content in bulk or reuse it in other products.
Your account
- You don't need an account to use the app. An account lets you save facts and keep them on all your phones.
- Accounts are for people aged 16 and over.
- Use your own, real email address and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings. See Delete your account.
Fair use
Please don't misuse the app or its servers: no attempts to break in, overload them, copy the facts automatically (scraping), or get around limits such as the number of saved facts. We may suspend or delete accounts that do, after telling you why where we can.
Free, and changes to the app
The app is free. We may add, change or remove features, and if we ever add paid features or ads, we'll update these terms and the Privacy Policy first and tell you in the app. We hope to run Podium Facts for a long time, but we can't promise it will always be available or work without interruption.
Responsibility
We provide the app "as is", with care but without guarantees, as far as the law allows. We're not responsible for indirect losses caused by using the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country, or our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it to be limited (for example, for intent or gross negligence).
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top, and for important changes we'll tell you in the app before they apply.
Law
These terms are governed by Croatian law. If you live in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the consumer laws there, and you can bring a claim in your own country's courts.
